Explorer Scouts are young people, usually aged between 14 and 18 years old. They make up the fourth Section of the Scouting family.
They are involved in a wide variety of adventurous activities such as Abseiling, mountaineering, camps, night hikes, canoeing, and climbing amongst many others. They also have a number of awards to obtain during their time in Explorers. The top award is the Queens Scout Award.
