We have two Scouts troop providing Scouting for youngsters aged 10 to 14 years. The Mountbatten Troop meets on Tuesdays from 6.30 to 8.30pm and the Battenburg Troop meets on Fridays 6 to 8pm. The troops participates in a wide range of activities some of which include: canoeing; kayaking; boating; abseiling; climbing; hiking; expeditions; international trips; camp craft; camping; orienteering; pioneering; cooking; etc. Our main aim to provide Scouts with an opportunity to take part in adventurous activities, some of which they would normally not be able to do outside of Scouting. We also like to pride ourselves into doing camps every 1-2 month allowing Scouts to achieve their maximum potential in achieving their Awards, Challenges and Badges. Apart from doing activities for ourselves we also have an active part within our community doing service and helping others wherever possible.
